The Five Solas
The five solas summarize truths recovered and clarified during the Reformation. They remind the church that salvation is entirely the work of God, revealed in Scripture, centered on Christ, received by faith, grounded in grace, and ordered toward God's glory.
Scripture Alone
The church receives the Bible as the final authority for faith and practice. Traditions, teachers, and confessions have real value, but they must always be tested by the Word of God.
Faith Alone
Sinners are justified through faith in Christ, not through personal merit or religious achievement. Faith receives what Christ has accomplished.
Grace Alone
Salvation begins, continues, and ends with God's grace. The believer's confidence rests not in spiritual performance but in the mercy and power of God.
Christ Alone
Christ is the only mediator between God and man. His life, death, resurrection, and intercession are sufficient for the salvation of His people.
To God Alone Be Glory
Because salvation belongs to the Lord, all glory belongs to Him. Doctrine leads to worship, humility, and a life ordered around God's praise.
